Because QualChoice is now under the ownership of the Centene Corporation, QualChoice members will be transitioned to Centene’s Arkansas (Novasys) network.
The change is expected to become effective this summer. The NovaSys Health network supports these Centene companies in Arkansas:
- Ambetter from Arkansas Health & Wellness
Federally Facilitated Marketplace (FFM) and Arkansas Works plans with over 118,000 members - Allwell from Arkansas Health & Wellness
A Medicare Advantage plan with more than 23,000 members - Arkansas Total Care
A Provider-Led Arkansas Shared Saving Entity (PASSE) product for certain Medicaid recipients, with more than 10,000 members
The new Commercial network under NovaSys Health will support QCA Health Plan, Inc. and QualChoice Life and Health (collectively known as QualChoice) commercial and self-funded insurance with more than 40,000 members.
There will be no other changes to QualChoice operations. You will still work with the same QualChoice staff for claims, pre-authorizations and provider relations. Member benefits will not change and members will reach the same customer service and account staff when they call.
